WHY CHOOSE US?

The 1st Church Fenton Scout Group is a small group consisting of 1 Beaver Colony, 1 Cub Pack and 1 Scout Troop. Shortly there will be a joint Explorer Group run in partnership with the Sherburn Scout Group.

We meet at the Methodist hall in Church Fenton. The size of the hall and Scout regulations dictate the size of the group. Membership of the group is not guaranteed but we are always looking for leaders and helpers.

For more information contact the Group secretary for full details on how your child can join, or how to help out. Everyone in the group is a volunteer, so don't expect instant replies!

Huge congratulations to Katie Hodgson of Church Fenton Scout Group who on the 1st of December 2016 received the Chief Scout's Commendation for Meritorious Conduct presented by Ian Hill our County Commissioner on behalf of the Chief Scout Bear Grylls.

Katie's grandmother survived a life threatening choking incident earlier this year thanks to Katie's quick thinking response and first aid skills. Well done Katie, we are all delighted and very proud of you!
